This enables workers to quickly find the functions they need and eliminates the frustration of hunting around for the correct key or command.5 With so many advantages over a conventional mouse and keyboard, it’s unsurprising that touch screens are now used so widely in industrial environments for a variety of process control tasks. Industrial touch screens are more durable, quicker and easier to use, and enable workers to perform tasks more efficiently than a standard keyboard and mouse.
